Last time on Star Trek Perseus

The starship Perseus travels to a distant star system to try and determine what has happened to a classified Starfleet Research facility. This facility holds the answer to human longevity and Starfleet wants its secrets secured.

However, when the Perseus got thru the automated defenses, the crew was able to determine that there were no obvious life signs aboard the planet. Without anyone manning the research facility, the Perseus was forced to send down and away team.

"My god it is gorgeous here. too bad this place is trying to kill us or I would recommend some shore leave here."

As the away team explored the planet, they discovered that something was very wrong, but had no way to communicate that information back to the ship. In the fire fight, their Flight Control Officer was taken by the creatures and ushered into an unknown cavern.

"Let me out you idiots!!"

Meanwhile, the Perseus discovers the USS Grand Duke not far from the planet. As they made contact, the ship transported an away team to investigate why it also showed zero life signs.

"The cargo bay is secure, Ma'am," Yula said calmly, "I think we should check out Main Engineering and see if we can't get the Environmental Controls working properly."

The away team aboard the Grand Duke runs into some creatures and a fire fight ensues. Just when things couldn't get any worse, the Perseus' Chief Medical Officer goes into labor aboard the doomed ship.

"Valez, stop the contractions. I can't have this baby here." For the first time fear was detected in Rachel's voice at the idea of giving birth on a ship with hostiles on board. Suddenly as power was restored a moment of relief passed, then came the heat. "Valez!" The CMO grabbed the emergency kit sitting on the floor next to the nurse. "Load ten cc's of amniostabilin, it's not too late yet!"

The Perseus decides to send over reinforcements as they beam over its CEO, OPS Officer, and a security team to secure the Grand Duke's computer core.

"Thanks for the rescue Lieutenant. I'll do my best to keep up and not slow everyone down."

Once they were transported over, the Perseus loses main power as the Grand Duke fires torpedoes at the ship.

"Someone get me some flashlights," McKnight called out.
