Captain's Log - 11505.31 (The Overmind IV)

Captain's Personal Log Supplemental, Stardate 11505.31

The Federation may have met another enemy that's just as bad as the Borg. I don't want to say it, but these 'zergbies' as the crew have came to call them are ruthless killers. Anything they come in contact with are immediately converted into one of them. The sad news is that these zergbies are created by Starfleet either by accident or on purpose. I've lost some good officers, but any ships that come into contact with these zergies should be forewarned that the only way to kill them is to shoot them in the head. My crew has resulted to old 20th century hand weapons and they seem to do the trick. We're still working on retrieving the research as well as rescuing Amy Hunt. With the Broadsword and Carina assisting, I feel that we may have a good chance in putting an end to the zerbies.
