Sam smiled and with a gentle gesture, stood and had him lean forward. In a matter of seconds, she had healed his shoulder.
While she healed him, she said calmly, "I have a very good memory and they both taught me some very important things. You might say that I wouldn't be who I am today without their help. Maybe I'll tell you about it sometime."
As she finished, she sat back down and forced a small protein bar into his hand. She took another sip of her steaming cup of tea and took notice of when someone began to speak. There was mention of a battle and Sam produced a PADD and handed it to Captain Kurogami. It showed an overview of the battle for him to review, showing current fleet movements, reflecting what was displayed on a couple of other PADDs around them, but combining the information and making various views available.
She gave him a glance, but deliberately tried to keep her silence. She knew he likely had questions, but she knew he would take one thing at a time. Right now this was beginning to look like the sort of meeting that brought her here in the first place.
Sam waited a few seconds and then spoke up, "Excuse me sir, I know I may be stating the obvious to seasoned leaders who are familiar with combat in space, but channeling the enemy and isolating an objective are very difficult in space. Shutting down communications might blind them enough to give you more of an edge. Just a thought. We appear to be reaching a point of desperation, which is a mistake on their part. The more desperate we become, the more drastic our measures are likely to be. Since we are dying, we might be prepared to die in small numbers to achieve larger goals. If we can supply the shuttles and warheads, I can help supply an endless number of pilots that will guide those into key locations and detonate them. It is easier than you might think."
She blushed a little and added, "If these ideas are of interest, I could perhaps elaborate more when it is more convenient...sir."
