[Raul, in the War Room]
"I don't know if I like that idea," said Raul as he looked at Captain McKnight. He then got up and started to pace the room as he thought about everything that has been said thus far. Everyone had a point and it was better to try something than to give up given their latest attempt. The Admiral paced around and thought about the possibilities for a few minutes before he stopped and just stood there. He stroked his beard for a few seconds before he finally spoke, "Actually, the good Captain has a point. Thus far, our attacks have only been one concentrated effort at a time and we haven't had much success. Yes, there are times that we were able to accomplish the tasks with heavily causalities, but there are more times where we've failed. Having a two pronged approach, as the Captain put it, might actually work. It will divide our forces, but it might be a necessary risk that we'll take."
The Admiral then walked back to his seat and sat down as he wrote a few notes on his PADD. "Lieutenant Waters, I am amazed by your idea and a bit intrigued at your demonstration. You are tasked to hash out a plan utilizing your idea to destroy the communication relay station while trying to minimize any Federation deaths. We're not sure how many Federation citizens are being forced to work aboard that station. I would also like you to pick out who you want on that team. Have the finalized plan ready to be briefed to me by the end of the week. You may utilized the holosuite we have here to run your scenarios."
He looked at Leere and added, "Lieutenant Leere also had some interesting ideas related to that plan so you may want her to be on your team, but I'll leave that up to you."
Raul then turned over to Captain McKnight. "John, I want you to hash out your plan as well as picking a secondary target that is close to the communication station, but not too close. We want to draw the Zikkomt forces away from the station but not give them enough time to head back there once they discovered that it's a ruse to lure them away in the first place. Also, Captain, let me be clear. I don't want your team to be cannon fodder, but if that's the only option that will ensure this mission's success, so be it. It is your job to make sure that that doesn't happen though. Do I make myself clear?"
{Assuming John says yes - and why wouldn't he

}
"Good. Have your plan ready to be briefed and team picked out by the end of the week," said the Admiral.
He looked around to see if there were any comments regarding his orders.
