Relaunch Mission

Hi Everyone! I know things had kind of dwindled here in Newsfleet for various reasons that I won't really go into, but I hate for NF to just die off. So we're going to try and relaunch it and see if we can get participation back up. I created a new mission thread. It takes place months after the mission that we were currently on. For those of you that are curious, we can say that the mission was a success and the crew of the USS Perseus was able to find and rescue Amy while coming up with a way to deal with the Zerbies. If there's more interest in that mission thread, we may go back to it sometime down the road. For now, let's just try and concentrate on relaunch.

November is also considered to be National Novel Writing Month so we're going to see if we can write 50,000 words in one month. I thought it'll also be kind of fun if we can hit 25,000 posts in a month but that might be impossible. Anyway, I created a new thread for us to do this in. You can read the Captain's log from that URL to get a general idea of what happened. Here are some general guidelines from the SM perspective:

[*] Don't bring any other starships. Your character can either be at the base already or they can arrive via a shuttlecraft (a badly damaged one)
[*] Don't use any position headings in your subject line (e.g. CO, XO, CTO, etc.). We'll try and handle this later on depending on how many people participate
[*] Only way to get into the base is by transporters via a secret code. If you have been vetted and given the location to the base, your character can transmit a Starfleet security clearance code and your identity.
[*] If you want to participate in the relaunch, please have a post up by the end of the week
