Personnel: New SM, USS Carina, 7th Fleet
Derek Walter, a long time player and SM of the USS Carina, has decided to step down from his SM/CO duties due to increasing real life responsibilities. He has been with ACTD since 2005 serving aboard the USS Perseus as his initial assignment. Derek then went onto the Dakota and the Afton as her CO before ultimately becoming the SM/CO of the Carina. He is a truly great writer and player. We will all miss him and wish him all the best.
Matt Clearly has accepted my offer to replace Derek as the Carina’s SM/CO. Matt has been another long time player in ACTD (a member since 2004) and he was the Carina’s XO. I believe he will be a great SM/CO for the Carina and will definitely come up with great stories for the ship and crew.
Please join me in bidding farewell to a long time ACTD member and in welcoming Matt to the SM ranks.
