Ensign Walsh was late in getting to the ceremony after making a wrong turn somewhere along the way. He arrived in time to catch the last part of the speech before the ceremony ended. "Should have just asked the computer for directions." He thought to himself. Once the ceremony was over, he mingled with the rest of the crew. After a little bit of searching, Josh had made his way to his quarters. The doors slid open and he stepped into the room. It wasn't an overly large room but it was plenty of space for just him. The belongings that he had brought with him were sitting in boxes in the middle of the room where they had been beamed in. Josh had been browsing for some time now. There was alot to take in on the new station. He noticed someone walking closer to him out of the corner of his eye but didn't immediately turn as he thought they would just pass by. "Excuse me, sir. Ensign Walsh made it through the check in process and made his way to the main promenade. The new station was immaculate, everything clean and orderly. But being an engineer, he knew that anything brand new was bound to have bugs that needed to be worked out. As he walked he stopped and checked out some of the stores along the way. Ensign Walsh stepped through the docking ring and into the new station. He stepped out of the way of other people, who were also disembarking. He looked around for a moment as he took in the new environment. After a moment he followed the crowd as they checked in. I am here and ready to go. I got a bit nervous when the forum disappeared and I didn't hear anything. I love the ship and station choices. Expecially the ship name as its the name is use for my STO ship. As for my character, I'm still willing to fill whatever spot may need to be filled. From what I understand that is correct. I think we are in the gap between Romulus being destroyed and the events of STO which followed. (Since there are no movies/ shows that followed after.)by JoshWalsh - Crew Lounge

Count me in for the relaunch. I'm good for posting 2-3 times a week. As for the ship I'm good either way. My question is how much creative room are you given? Since there is so much more content outside of "cannon" now. The Sto and Kelvin universes are both very interesting as they both can be considered branches off of the main cannon arc. The doors of the turbolift slid open and Ensign Walsh stepped onto the bridge. He took a quick glance around the bridge before heading to the conference room. The doors slid open and Josh stepped through. He saw someone sitting at the table already. He gave the Lt. The stack of Padds on the engineer's desk was daunting. Ensign Walsh was still getting settled into his new role of Chief Engineer aboard the Carina. The turbolift came to a stop and the doors slid open to reveal the Rocky's main engineering room. Cadet Walsh stepped out of the lift and started to walk in. The young Cadet couldn't help but look around in awe. He had gone over all of the specs of the Galaxy class starship many times but had never stepped foot inside a real one before. The comm channel closed once Ensign Walters hsd finished speaking. Cadet Walsh turned to look at Commander Planters when he had started speaking to him. "As am I Sir. " Josh replied. Ensign Walters was working at one of the engineering stations when he received the message over his combadge. "Aye Sir. I will have everything ready for you when you arrive." Cadet Walsh took a quick look around the bridge once they had fully rematerialized. There were a few others on the bridge who were already back to work when the Commander started to speak.
